Job Overview
We are seeking Native Japanese Speakers to join a global Gaming Trust & Safety team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As a Japanese Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content to ensure it complies with platform policies and community standards. Your work will help create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable gaming environment for users around the world.
This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about gaming, online communities, and digital platforms, and who are looking to build an international career in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
Key Responsibilities
Review and moderate gaming-related content, including text, images, videos, and other user-generated content.
Ensure all content complies with company policies and community guidelines.
Identify, investigate, and take appropriate action on content that violates platform standards.
Maintain high accuracy and productivity while meeting quality targets.
Escalate complex or sensitive cases according to internal procedures.
Work closely with quality, training, and operations teams to maintain service excellence.
Handle confidential information professionally while following data security policies.
Stay updated on platform policies, gaming trends, and moderation guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
Native Japanese Speaker (Required)
Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
Good communication skills in Japanese.
Basic English communication skills for internal communication and training.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
Passion or interest in gaming, online communities, or digital platforms is an advantage.
Ability to work in a rotational shift environment.
Willing to relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
